India coasted to an ODI series win over host Zimbabwe as they closed out the second match at Harare Sports Club with as much ease and lack of effort as they had the first.
After sending the hosts in and skittling them out for 126 in 34.3 overs, India's young but still vastly superior batting line up, cruised to the target with 139 balls to spare.
Having won the first ODI on Saturday, India thus took the three-match series by a 2-0 margin.
Lokesh Rahul added 33 to his debut first-match century, while Ambati Rayudu (41 not out) and Karun Nair (39) contributed the little more that was required to realise victory.
Earlier, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal made good his time on an away tour by scalping three, triggering a sharp collapse that saw Zimbabwe lose their last seven wickets for just 20 runs.
Seamers Barinder Sran (2/17) and Dhawal Kulkarni (2/31) used the early swing on offer and took on the early responsibilities to make inroads, after which Chahal (3/25) joined the party.
Only the experienced Vusi Sibanda's 21st ODI half-century lent the total some semblance of respectability, but his fall led to a ruinous collapse from which the home side failed to recover.
The third and final ODI will be played on June 15.
