India vs Australia match: Bengaluru ready with special buses to ferry cricket lovers on Sunday

Synopsis

Huge crowd is expected and many of them could be stranded post the final one-day match between India and Australia on Sunday. Anticipating this, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has pitched in with special buses to ferry the crowd to their respective destination. The special  buses will ply between 11 pm on Sunday and 1 am on Monday.  


Bengaluru: Worried about getting stranded post the final one-day match between India and Australia at Chinnaswamy Stadium and surroundings in Bengaluru? The crowd and fans can reach their respective destinations with no worry as Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will deploy special buses.

Since the Sunday match will be a day and night format, which may end post10:30 pm, the fans may find it tough to get back to their homes. Keeping this in mind, the BMTC will operate special buses from 11 pm on Sunday to 1 am on Monday.

According to the BMTC, from Chinnaswamy stadium, special buses will head to Kadugodi bus stand (SBS-1K), Sarjapura (G-2), Electronic City (G-3) Bannerghatta National Park (G-4) Kengeri, KHB Quarters(G-6 ), Janapriya Township (G-7), Nelamangala (G-8), Yelhanka 5th Phase (G-9)Yelhanka (G-10), Bagalur (G-11) and Hoskote (317-G).

These special buses will travel via various routes within city limits before reaching the final destination so that fans can reach home safe. In addition to these buses, if there is a demand, the BMTC is ready to deploy more buses.
