Her love for books; Mithali does it again before semis

Synopsis

It seems like Mithali Raj is ready to fight the pressure of the World Cup semis match and has grabbed another book. In the first match of 2017 World Cup that India played, Raj was all padded up before going to bat while reading a book. Similarly, Raj is found reading the book before semi-final 2, and she was holding former England cricketer Nasser Hussain’s book.

The semi-final match between India and Australia in Women’s World Cup at Derby has been delayed due to rain. It seems like Mithali Raj is ready to fight the pressure of the match and has grabbed another book to relax before the toss.

In the first match of 2017 World Cup that India played, Raj was all padded up before going to bat while reading a book. The picture went viral, and everyone praised her. Raj said her action of reading a book was tactics to get pressure off her shoulder.

Similarly, Raj is found reading the book before semi-final 2. Her eyes were glued on Nasser Hussain, former England cricketer's book titled ‘Playing with the fire.’

Sky Sports Cricket tweeted saying, ‘Strong book choice for India’s Mithali Raj – don’t you agree?’ and mentioned Nasser Hussain.

Nasser Hussain replied in a funny manner by saying, ‘Not much in that book about how to win a World Cup semi I'm afraid !! Let's hope she doesn't read the bit on what to do at the toss either.’
