Harbhajan Singh's doosra grounds Jet Airways pilot

Harbhajan Singh went on a rant on Twitter after he got to know about the incident.  The Mumbai Indians' veteran spinner even tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweets. 

An expat pilot named Bernd Hoesslin apparently physically abused a lady and a physically challenged man. The pilot even referred to them as "bloody Indians." This alleged incident of racism was narrated by the lady on Facebook and Harbhajan Singh noticed the post.

Then, the Mumbai Indians' veteran spinner went on a rant on Twitter. He even tagged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his tweet requesting him to take stern action against the pilot and the airlines.

After the spinners' series of tweets Jet Airways issued an apology. They said that they will take stern action against the pilot and they will not be tolerating any kind of nonsense. 

Here is the media statement released by Jet Airways: 

"The pilot has been de-rostered pending investigation since the time we got to know. We take a very serious view of such issues."

"Jet Airways has zero tolerance towards any action of our employees that contravene local or international laws. Additionally, we have a strict employee code of conduct which is based on the values and ethos of the airline.This is clearly mentioned in the prescribed service condition of the employees and is adequately emphasised during international training sessions."

"All airline employees are required to comply with the company's rules and regulations and with the customs and security laws of the countries that Jet Airways flies to."
