Synopsis

Chris Gayle who is one of the big guns for RCB has given a clue of not playing for RCB in next year’s IPL. He said that he doesn't know how players will be retained after the return of CSK and RR. The ban of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals has been lifted today, and these two teams will be part of next IPL.

With still eight months away from the start of the 11th edition of IPL, the discussions about retention of the players has already begun.

After the ban of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals has been lifted today, CSK has said that it would retain M S Dhoni if they are given an option to do so.

But the future of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is seeming to have taken a new turn. Chris Gayle who is one of the big guns for RCB has given a clue of not playing for RCB in next year’s IPL.

During a Facebook live video hosted by Cricinfo, Gayle has said that he doesn't know how players will be retained after the return of CSK and RR.

"That will be up to them (RCB management), to be honest. The auction will be open to any particular team, but at the same time, RCB has been fantastic. To be associated with such a franchise, it has been brilliant.”

"You don't know what the rules will be when that time comes around as well. Hopefully, fingers crossed, you will see Gayle storm in the IPL." said Gayle.

With these developments growing for the next season of IPL, fans of all IPL franchisees have to wait who will be their heroes from next season of IPL.
