Samson used the tennis racquet to serve to Bopanna, who played the ball with a cricket bat, and left the Indian wicketkeeper-batter surprised by the sheer speed of the shot. Sanju Samson hilariously asked, ‘Hey, how have you played?’ In response, Rohan Bopanna said, “I have played back in the day.”
In the role reverse, when Samson took his turn to bat, Bopanna struggled to contain him initially, as the cricketer quickly found his rhythm and began showcasing his elegant strokeplay, before the retired Indian tennis player dramatically cranked up his speed to 131 kmph, unleashing a rocket that completely cleaned up the wicketkeeper-batter.
