Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Mirabai Chanu now owns the Renault Kiger

Mirabai Chanu was presented with the brand new car in recognition of her stunning performance at the world stage and for making every Indian proud of her feat. 

Renault Motors on Wednesday gifted Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Mirabai Chanu keys to the compact Sports Utility Vehicle Kiger.

Powered by a turbocharged 1.0L petrol engine, the Kiger is packed with technology and sporty features. 

The compact SUV has multi-sense drive modes that offer flexible driving preferences. It comes with a twin-slat chrome grille, C-shaped LED taillights, shark fin antenna, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on the exterior, tri-LED headlights and LED DRLs.

The interior of the Kiger comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument panel, automatic climate control, Arkamys 3D sound system with eight speakers, PM2.5 air filter, wireless phone charging and ambient lighting.

Renault, which is in its 10th year of operations in India, said that Mirabai Chanu had not only lifted the spirits of the entire nation but with her dedication and commitment, she also became an inspiration for other athletes.
