The U-20 World Athletics Championships 2021 saw a phenomenal performance from the Indians as they rallied into the final of the 4x400m mixed team relay with a record-breaking performance.
It was a spectacular performance from India in the ongoing U-20 World Athletics Championships in Nairobi. During the 4x400m mixed team relay, India breezed into the final of the event on Wednesday.
The team of Abdul Razzaq, Priya Mohan, Summy and Kapil topped its heat. Furthermore, the team clocked 3:23.36, which happened to be an overall second-best championship record.

Although it was an initial record, it was quickly broken by the Nigerian athletes, who clocked 3:21.66. The final is scheduled to be held later, in the evening.
Traditionally, India has won four medals in the Championships to date. Seema Antil (discus throw in 2002), Navjeet Kaur Dhillon (discus throw in 2014), Neeraj Chopra (javelin throw in 2016), and Hima Das (400m in 2018) are the ones to have done so.
