Yesteryear actress Shanthi Krishna plans a comeback to Mollywood

Synopsis

Actress and dancer Shanthi Krishna was very active in Mollywood in the 1980s. Shanthi Krishna won Kerala State Film Award for her role in Chakoram in 1994. She took a long break from acting after her second marriage in 1995. 

Actress Shanthi Krishna who ruled the silver screen in the 80s will make a comeback with a Nivin Pauly starrer.

 

The movie is a debut venture of Altaf, who did a cameo in Alphonse Putharen's 'Premam'. Altaf is also scripting the film.

 

Shanthi Krishna who announced her split with her second husband Bajore Sadasivan will play Nivin's mother in the untitled flick.   Actor Lal will be playing Nivin's father. Ahana Krishna, daughter of actor Krishnakumar, will play the heroine in the movie.

 

Shanthi Krishna distanced herself from movies after her second marriage with Sadasivan, a US-based entrepreneur. The couple has two children. 

 

Shanthi was earlier married to actor Sreenath, but the couple broke up in 1995. Sreenath passed away in 2010.
