50 people stung by wasps in Tamil Nadu

Fifteen people were seriously injured after a swarm of wasps stung them and 35 others near Mayiladuthurai in Tamil Nadu, police said.
The venom-filled stinging of the wasps in Malliyakollai caused serious injuries to the 15 people who had been hospitalised, they said. The rest were treated as outpatients. The pain will last for 10 hours, Dr V Mohan, who treated them, said.
