Synopsis

The driver dozzed off and lost control of the car The deceased were returning home after visiting a relative Two children, who were injured in the mishap have been admitted to hospital

Four people, including three Keralites, died and eight injured in a road mishap near Salem in Tamilnadu on Wednesday. The accident occurred in the wee hours when two cars collided and overturned near Krishnagiri.
 

The deceased are identified as Valsamma, 70, her son Binu, 42 and Binu's friend Johnson, 31, all hailing from Kottayam. Another deceased is from Krishnagiri. 
 

Binu's children, who were injured in the mishap, have been admitted to Dharmapuri hospital. The deceased were returning home after visiting Binu's relative. 


Binu, who was driving the car dozed off leading to the accident. The car lost control and hit the median and in turn collided with another vehicle.
