Malleshwaram police have arrested a security guard who was sending indecent messages to the lady lecturers of a private college located in Malleshwaram.
Mahendra (20) is the security guard who was arrested. He was working as a security guard in the same private college and had borrowed a mobile phone from one of the students who was studying in the college.
The police have arrested the student also for sharing his mobile with Mahendra. However, they have released him on a bail.
Mahendra had borrowed the mobile phone from the student to browse in the internet. In the mobile he found the phone numbers of four lady lecturers of the college and sent indecent messages to their numbers.
The bewildered ladies lodged a complaint at Malleshwaram police station on January 13. The police probed the case on the basis of the mobile number and came to know that the mobile belonged to a student of the college. They arrested him the very next day and enquired. By that time Mahendra went absconding.
Then the police started searching for Mahendra based on the statements given by the student. They located that his hiding place with the help of mobile tower signal and arrested him.
