Accident or murder? Bidar dog spotted with human leg

A stray dog was found wandering with a human leg. Local residents suspect that the limb may have belonged to a murder victim. Police are investigating if the leg was taken from a railway track accident site.
Residents staying near the Canara Bank in Bidar city witnessed a gruesome sight on the night of January 16. Late at night they spotted a dog wandering around with a human leg in its mouth. The stray dog was frightened by the attention of the onlookers and ran away, leaving the leg behind.
Bidar Market police are currently probing the case. It is not yet known how the dog found the human leg. Local residents suspect that the leg belonged to someone who may have been murdered in a remote location. It could have also been taken from a burial ground.
Police also suspect that the leg could have been taken from someone grievously injured in a railway track accident.
