Security staff found shot at Kochi Naval Base
Synopsis
A security personnel was found dead with bullet injuries at naval base in Kochi on Monday morning.
The diseased is identified as K Sivadasan, 53, from Thrissur in Kerala. He belonged to the Defence Security Corps (DSC) wing and was on duty on when he died.
The Harbour Terminus police have registered a case and a probe is on whether the mishap was accidental or he was deliberately shot at.
The Navy has also ordered a separate inquiry into the incident.
