Security guard found in a pool of blood at Kerala bank

A security personnel was grievously injured when he tried to stop a robbery attempt ataising concerns about the safety of financial institutions in the country.
Bank Employees who reached the office on Tuesday morning found Jayachandran, 34, lying unconscious in a pool of blood on the second floor of the building. Jayachandran was immediately rushed to a Medical College hospital.
After preliminary investigation, police deduced that Jayachandran may have been hacked while resisting a robbery attempt.
Of late, the security at banks and ATM kiosks in the state has turned out to be a cause of major concern after a number of security guards have been overpowered by burglars.
