The film's title translates to ‘Upendra take a rebirth, your’s Prema’. Through this film, Prema is making a comeback in Sandalwood after seven years. The two actors had last acted together in 1999, in Upendra. However, their relationship soon fell apart and they were not seen together in any film after that.
Arun Lokanath of H2O fame is directing the movie. Interestingly, Upendra later married his co-actor in H2O, Priyanka.
Upendra will be seen in the dual role and if all goes as planned, the movie will go on the floors from the second week of June.
Some years ago, Prema had battled cancer. Recently she was separated from her husband and was in the news for entering politics.
