
Bengaluru, on Thursday, saw a large gathering of people at the National College grounds on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
According to the Tyagi Seva Samithi, 413 women tied rakhis to their brothers at the event. The programme organisers claimed to have set a world record because more than 5000 people attended the event.
India Book of Records officers, present at the event, recorded and gathered information regarding the large gathering . These documents will be forwarded to the Guinness Book of World Records.
Jain priests Antarman Prasanna Sagar Maharaj and Antharman Peeyush Sagar Maharaj were present at the function to bless the brothers and sisters.
