Rail-bus between Nelamangala-Yeshwanthpur

A service first of its kind in Bengaluru. New experience for Bengaluru passengers.

It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to run between the two stations and the passengers can travel without any traffic hassles.

In Rail-bus 60 to 70 passengers can travel at a time and bus-train starts from Yeshwanthpur at 7.30 a.m. every day. Sources say that the number of the trips will be increased in the coming days.

Passengers demand to extend this service to City Railway Station also.

What is Rail bus?

The interior of this single coach train is similar to bus model. A special engine is developed by Ashok Layland Company exclusively for Railway Department. Compared to the bus this service is economical for passengers just ₹ 10 per head.
