Ambulance smashes into a bus, patient on board killed

An ambulance in Peenya collided with a private bus on Friday morning killing the patient in the ambulance.
Doctors had assured that Eramma (46), who was suffering from a heart disease, would survive if she was given immediate treatment in a hospital.
On her way to Jayadeva Hospital in Bengaluru, the driver of the ambulance lost control of the vehicle and smashed into a reversing private bus. Eramma was killed on the spot and four others, including the driver of the ambulance, were severely injured.
Peenya police have filed a complaint and are investigating the case.
