PM Modi to inaugurate power projects on his maiden visit to Telangana

Synopsis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make his maiden visit to the newest state of India on August 7. Modi is going to visit Telangana on August 7.

 

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation for a 1600 MW thermal power project in Karimnagar district. He would also inspect a fertiliser plant which is being revived at Ramagudam.

 

In addition to that PM Modi will also inaugurate the 1200 MW Singareni Thermal Plant in Adilabad district.

 

According to reports, the Prime Minister was invited by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

 

Modi’s itinerary also comprises of addressing a public rally in Medak district. In Medak’s Gajwel town, the PM will also launch the state government’s drinking water project Mission Bhagiratha.

 

Modi will arrive in Begumpet in a special plane on August 7 at around 1 pm.
