The official website of the Karnataka police was defaced by a Pakistani hacker on Friday.

The hacker, who identifies himself as Faisal 1337, put up the national flag of Pakistan and wrote: "#Police website pwned! Shame on Your Security." Under the flag, the hacker wrote: "we are Team Pak Cyber Attackers. #PakistanZindabad."

The website has been restored and the police are trying to trace the IP address from which the attack took place. This is certainly not the first time that Faisal 1337 had a go at Indian websites.

On May 20, Faisal 1337 claimed that he brought down the website of the Indian Railway (http://www.indianrailways.gov.in). In the same month, he had also defaced the Assam government's official page (http://www.iwt.assam.gov.in/). In April, he brought a website belonging to the BJP (http://bjpsyc.in/). The site still is controlled by the Pakistani hackers.

After one of its cyber attacks, the Pak group had wrote:

"Stop killing of innocent Muslim peoples in India and in Kashmir. Don't take advantage from our leniency. Dont try to cross your limits, its for you to live in your limits. Freedom of Kashmir and Freedom of Palestine is our mission, stop support of Israel."

Don't invite us to you, once if we invited than nobody can stop us and than Hinduism will be destroyed for ever on earth. Expect us. We are Muslim we don't fear from any thing, except Allah."
