Bengaluru: Motorcycles for hire at Metro stations
Synopsis
KJ George, Minister in-charge for Bengaluru, inaugurated the bike services at Trinity Metro station on Saturday. The Metro Bike service contract has been given to Weekend Ride Adventure Services Private Limited. Bikes are available at Trinity, Indiranagar, Bayyappanahalli, Peenya and Mantri Square metro stations.
G Anil, Co-founder of Weekend Ride Adventure Services Private Limited, said that presently ten bikes are reserved for commuter’s service. Bikes will be available on Sunday and Monday only.
The company is going to extend the bike service at Peenya and Mantra Square Sampige mall stations in the second week of June.
List of rates:
₹20-per-bike for 30 minutes, for up to 3 km. ₹3-per-km from the 4th km onwards and ₹10 for an extra 30 minutes.
