Kerala government launches mobile app to report monsoon woes

Synopsis

 

 

Kerala is all getting monsoon ready and so is the new Left government the state by launching a mobile app named 'Edavappathi.' The app allows the public to report rain-related grievances and incidents. 

 

From clogged drains to rain-damaged roads, public can inform their complaints using the app is downloaded on their Android phones.
 

 

The user can upload an image and give a short description on the problem at hand.  The complaint will be received at the Chief Minister's call centre from where it will be forwarded to the respective departments for immediate action. The monitoring cell will ensure that that the issue is resolved in a time bound manner.
