Meet Yamunavva Siddappa Kaolli (103) who crawled for five kilometres to meet tahsildar and get her share of ration. Although she was the member of PKPS society in Hulyala village, she was deprived of food and grains that were provided under public distribution system.

For, Yamunavva has none to help her. Her elder son is no more and another son is bedridden. With no alternative, she crawled five kilometres to taluk headquarters in scorching sun and pleaded the tahsildar to fix the issue.

Moved by her plight, the tahsildar ordered to provide her share of ration to the officials, reports Kannada Prabha.
