RBI scrap paper-laden lorry topples in Raichur

Earlier, it was reported that a lorry laden with demonetised currency notes had toppled at Maski in Raichur. The lorry shifting the old currency notes (₹500 and ₹1000) from printing centre in Mysuru to Kalaburagi was toppled in Raichur on Monday.
But as per teh clarifications, there were no bundles of notes and the truck contained only scrap papers.
Turuvihala Police have visited the spot and are investigating the matter.
