Kerala nurse suffers acid attack in Hyderabad

Rejection meets with dire consequence as man throws acid on Kerala woman for spurning his advances in Hyderabad

A 25-year-old Keralite nurse, who works at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad, was reportedly attacked with acid by a man whose advances were rejected. The man, who also hails from Kerala, threw acid on her and the woman suffered injuries on her back and shoulder. The nurse, who received immediate medical help, is stable.

According to reports, the man had been harassing the nurse for the past eight months but she hadn’t bothered to respond and had rejected his advances.
