Asianet MD K Madhavan awarded 'Dhanam Businessman of the year'

Asianet Vice-Chairman and Managing Director K Madhavan received the prestigious 'Dhanam Businessman of the Year Award' from Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Dhanam Business Summit and Awards Night held at Le Meridian Convention Centre in Kochi on Saturday.
In his acceptance speech, Madhavan, who is also Star India South Managing Director, said that Asianet is well equipped to take up the challenges posed by new age technological advancements.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said that the state needs more industries that can go in tandem with environment and promised that the government would offer hassle-free policies to start new ventures.
Entrepreneur and Joyalukkas Group Chairman Joy Alukkas received NRI Businessman of the Year Award and BPCL Kochi Refinery Executive Director Prasad K Panicker received Business Professional of the Year Award.
