Saudi Visa fraud: Thanks to Sushma Swaraj 29 stranded Malayalees rescued

Kerala BJP state President Kummanam Rajasekharan had written to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj requesting her intervention in the matter. Soon enough, Sushma Swaraj in a letter to Rajasekharan, conveyed that all formalities to bring them back have been completed.
"They will be returning to Kerala by next week," a BJP press release quoting the minister said. Two years ago, Vishnuchandran and 28 others had gone to Damam in Saudi Arabia but their sponsor refused to hand over their visas and passports to the company where they were working.
The Keralites were facing immense hardships, the release said. Rajasekharan had written to Swaraj ten days back, requesting her intervention in bringing back the Keralites.
Because of visa not being given by sponsors, or losing jobs in case a project shutdown or termination of their work, many migrants in Saudi Arabia are facing this problem. Recently, Indian NRIs and even Saudi businessmen helped out some migrants stuck in the country because they were unable to return to their country.
