A seven-year-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kattayikonam, Thiruvananthapuram. The girl was found hanging in the bathroom of her house on Sunday evening.
She was playing with her brother in front of their house. After some time she went missing, and parents started searching for her, and the mother found her in the bathroom, hanging from the towel rod.
The girl was still alive, and the parents rushed her to Government Medical College Hospital. From there she was taken to SAT Hospital, but was declared dead around 6.45pm, the police said.
Police have registered a case and have started an investigation.
