The victim, Chithira, a native of Kothamangalam suffered serious injuries on her neck and thighs and is admitted to hospital in critical condition.
The incident took place at Kaloor, Kochi, at 6.45am. The woman is an employee at a private lab. She was travelling in an auto when the assailant came on a bike, stopped the autorickshaw and attacked her.
