It has been five years since movie lovers in Kerala have been missing the comedies of ace actor Jagathy Sreekumar. However, the World Music Day, 2017, turned out to be a special one for his fans as the actor was heard singing to the tunes of a popular Malayalam song during an event. 

The veteran actor joined the team of Red FM for the famous track '‘Manikya Veenayumayen' during an event organised by the radio channel along with Vayalar Samskarika Vedhi.  The video is going viral on Facebook. 

 

Malayali's across the world have been praying for his well being since the accident on March 10, 2012. His life had been confined to a wheelchair since the accident. 

Jagathy is recovering slowly, and last year, during Onam season, he appeared on a television channel along with his long term friend and colleague Nedumudi Venu. 

The actor met with a major road accident at Panambra near Calicut University in Malappuram and sustained multiple fractures and injuries to his head, chest and liver. It was in 2015 that he made first public appearance post his accident.
