Bar bribery case: Biju Ramesh submitted edited audio clip, says forensic report

Vigilance sleuths found out the voice clip was edited after it was verified by forensic experts in Ahmedabad Vigilance submitted the details of the forensic report before the special court at Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday Biju Ramesh has reacted to the development saying the vigilance are yet to examine the complete conversation

Giving a new twist to the bar bribery case, the vigilance has found the controversial audio clip that bar owners chief Biju Ramesh submitted as evidence was an edited one. 

Vigilance sleuths found this out after the voice clip was verified by forensic experts in Ahmedabad. The development comes at a time when fresh investigation in the bar bribery case is progressing.

Vigilance submitted the details of the forensic report before the special court at Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, and also informed the bench that the audio clip cannot be considered as evidence anymore. The court will consider the case on Friday.

Biju had maintained that the leaked clip of a meeting of the Kerala State Bar Hotel Owners Association in Kochi had evidence of ministers in the previous UDF government, including veteran KM Mani, accepting bribes.

Meanwhile, Biju has reacted to the development saying the vigilance are yet to examine the phone in which the complete conversation was recorded. He also alleged that the vigilance of trying to sabotage the case.
