Malappuram: A former accountant of a company threatened to commit suicide by pouring petrol on his body at the office in Malappuram. The incident took place in a private food factory in Wandoor Kappil. A 24-year-old resident of Nilambur Railway Station has threatened to commit suicide.


12:53 pm: Bears spotted in various locations in Wayanad

Bears have been spotted in various locations in Wayanad's Mananthavadi, with CCTV footage capturing their presence in Valliyoorkavu and Thonichal. The bear was observed around 2 a.m. on Sunday, and locals reported a sighting the previous night as well.  The forest department initiated a search for the bear the previous night, issuing warnings to the public to exercise caution in the affected areas.

A 6-year-old boy died after being hit by a truck in an accident in Neyyatinkara. Arish, the second son of Jijin and Reshma, a native of Neyyatinkara, died. The accident took place near Neyyatinkara village. The accident took place when a two-wheeler carrying a mother, two children and a father collided with a Taurus truck.

A construction worker collapsed and died while working. Radhakrishnan (56) died. He collapsed while working at the construction of a family temple near his home.


9:30 am: Husband who killed his wife found dead at railway track in Thrissur

The body of the husband who killed his wife in Thrissur's Muringur is on the railway track. Her husband Binu, who is accused in the murder case of Sheeja, a native of Muringur, was found dead after being hit by a train. His body was found on the track behind the Koratty Community Hall.
