Synopsis

Rahul Chowhan (25), known for his craze for cricket, died at the pitch after a hat trick wicket. After taking the third wicket he jumped up in air, suddenly collapsed and died. He had undergone heart surgery 6 months ago and was advised rest for 2 years. One and half year’s ago he was married and has a one year old son.

Rahul Chowhan (25), known for his craze for cricket, died at the pitch after a hat trick wicket at Vijayapura drowning scores of his fans in sorrow.  Rahul’s craze for cricket was well known. He would be present at every tournament. In fact he would tell his friends, he would give up his wife but not cricket, reported Suvarna News.

On Thursday, he was playing at the Durugammadevi fair tournament at Vijayapura.  By taking three wickets he had helped his losing team to win. When he took the third wicket he jumped up smashing his fist to air and suddenly collapsed and died due to cardiac arrest.  He was immediately taken to the hospital but was announced brought dead.

25 year old Rahul Chowhan was suffering from heart ailment and just 6 months ago was operated upon. The doctors had advised him to rest for 2 years. But the cricket craze did not let him rest at home. Instead he was happier at the pitch.  Just one and half year’s ago he was married and has a one year old son.
