Ganesha idol immersion was organised at Male Mahhadeshwara Hills near Mysuru This public event had attracted hundreds of people A scantily clad girl came on the stage and started dancing to a song on alcohol, which shocked the people

Ganesha idol immersion was organised at Male Mahhadeshwara Hills near Mysuru had attracted hundreds of people. Many elders were waiting to see the Ganapathi procession when a scantily clad girl came and started dancing to a song on alcohol.

The people were in for a shock and started fighting with the organisers for arranging such a dance for a religious programme.

Despite the fight, the dance programme went on, and those waiting for the procession had to bear the embarrassment and anger till the religious rituals started.

The programme was organised by an employees' organisation in the MM Hills. The programme started with cultural songs which later shifted to film songs and then came the controversial dance.

As people started creating ruckus the girl continued to dance to the song 'Mooru peggige tale gira gira endide (just had three pegs and I am already tipsy)!
