A man who doubted wife's loyalty towards him as she was beautiful, threw acid on her and is absconding.
Chennegowda, the accused is a resident of Sanyasipalya at Kempegowdanagar in Bengaluru. Victim Manjula is suffering burns on her face, hands, legs and stomach. She is currently being treated in the ICU of Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru.
The husband and wife had frequent fights. Chennegowda did not allow the wife to talk to anyone. He would always doubt her and pick up a fight. Thus, tired of all this, wife left her job four days ago.
Still, Chennegowda picked up a fight with Manjula on Friday. The argument ended up in a fatal attack by Chennegowda, where he threw acid on Manjula.
Soon after this, as Manjula was crying out in pain, Chennegowda fled the house.
A case in this regard has been booked at the Kempegowdanagar Police Station, and the police are trying to nab Chennegowda.
