Apparently, Rakshit got a big fat gold kada, which is a way of saying "Welcome to the family." In fact, Rashmika Mandanna has posted this lovely picture of her father slipping the gold kada into Rakshit Shetty's hand on her facebook. Her post read: 

Rakshit Shetty returned the gesture with a shift and a leather jacket, it is reported. The Sandalwood's cutest couple will have their engagement on July 3 at Rashmika Mandanna's house in Coorg.

Rashmika Mandanna told The Times of India that she has been bonding with Rakshit Shetty's family and has even managed to pick up some Tulu words like 'Encha Ullar' and 'Bodchi', so far. Even Rashmika's parents are very happy for the couple. "Rakshit Shetty is definitely the ideal life partner for Rashmika. We are confident that he will make a good husband," Suman Mandanna, Rashmika's mother told The Times of India.

The couple who are busy with a slew of movies are not getting married for another two years.
