Synopsis

BJP MLA from Raichur has been accused of having an illicit affair with a woman PSI His wife Sowmya had lodged a complaint with Women's Commission However, now she claims that her husband is like Lord Sri Ram

BJP legislator from Raichur Thipapraju Havaldar has been accused of having an illicit affair with a woman police officer by his own wife! Sowmya, the legislator's wife also alleged that he threatened her from going public with his alleged affair.

The whole saga played out in front of the media when a complaint to against the husband reached the women's commission.The complaint alleged that the BJP legislator has married the woman police sub-inspector Baby Walekar, when he was still married to Sowmya. The couple have two children, reports Suvarna News.

"Woman PSI Baby Walekar has ruined my life. If she does not let my husband live with me, I will end my life with children," the complaint said.

It is said that Sowmya, who is a ZP member had allegedly complained to Women's Commission in this regard. She had also stated that she was threatened by her husband for going public with his alleged affair. Sowmya and Thipparaju have been married for 16 years.

However, Sowmya backtracked as media channels played out the report. She told a newschannel that "My husband is a Sri Ramachandra and he does not have any affair with any woman. I'm happy leading my life with him," she said. She also denied that she did not submit any complaint to the commission.

Meanwhile, Thipparaju who is busy at the ongoing monsoon session, is yet to react on it.
