PIL seeking cancellation of Bengaluru steel bridge rejected

Synopsis

PIL seeking cancellation of the Government Order regarding construction of a steel bridge dispersed. Applicants instructed to submit the appeal to the BDA and State Urban Development and Planning Department. They should discuss with all the departments concerned in this regard and submit a report within one month.

The Karnataka High Court has dispersed the application seeking cancellation of the Government Order regarding construction of a steel bridge at Shivananda Circle on Hare Krishna Road and has instructed the applicant to submit the appeal to the BDA and State Urban Development and Planning Department, reported Kannada Prabha.

The PIL filed by K S Prasad and 24 others questioning the order issued by the State Government was heard by the Division Bench headed by chief justice S K Mukherjee and justice P S Dinesh Kumar and resolved that the applicants must submit an appeal to the BDA and Urban Development and Planning Department and they should discuss with all the departments concerned in this regard and submit a report within one month, the bench ruled.
