Parvathamma was admitted to hospital on May 16 She is being treated at MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru Currently, she is responding to the treatment, say sources

The doctor treating Parvathamma Rajkumar said that she is undergoing dialysis and is responding to treatment.

The senior producer of the Kannada film industry and Dr Rajkumar’s wife Parvathamma is being treated by Dr Sanjay Kulkarni at MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru and the doctir said her health is improving.

Sources said that Parvathamma also had a fever but now her condition is better and she is responding to the treatment. She was admitted to the hospital on May 16 after she complained of breathlessness.

Parvathamma is the first woman producer of the Kannada film industry. She played an important role in the growth of Dr Rajkumar’s movie career. She managed the Vajreshwari Combines production company which has launched many great actors in Kannada.

There were tensions over Parvathamma’s health as when she was admitted to the hospital, son Shivarajkumar’s movie Bangara s/o Bangarada Manushya was all set for the release. The rumours of Parvathamma being critical had kept the movie on hold. However, as her condition got better, the movie was released on Friday (May 19).
