Nomination process for Namma Bengaluru Award begins

Synopsis

The nomination process for the ninth edition of prestigious annual Namma Bengaluru Awards instituted by Namma Bengaluru Foundation has begun. Citizens are given time till this month end November 30 to nominate personalities of extra ordinary achievements for the awards.  Government Officer of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Promising Star of the Year, Social Entrepreneur of the Year and Journalist of the Year and 2017 Namma Bengaluriga. Nominations can be made through www.nammabengaluruawards.org or can be emailed to nba@namma-bengaluruawards.org. Applications are available at Bengaluru One Centres also. The nomination process for the ninth edition of prestigious annual Namma Bengaluru Awards instituted by Namma Bengaluru Foundation has begun and citizens are given time till this month end to nominate personalities of extraordinary achievements for the awards, reported Kannada Prabha.

The awards are in the category of Government Officer of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Promising Star of the Year, Social Entrepreneur of the Year and Journalist of the Year and 2017 Namma Bengaluriga. Nominations close on November 30. The awards will be presented in March, announced Namma Bengaluru Foundation.

To launch the nomination process actor Shraddha Srinath put her nominations in the box. Sridhar Pabbisetty, executive officer of the Foundation said nominations will be received till November 30, scrutinised in December and a jury committee of 23 chosen achievers from various fields will make the final selections. The jury will discuss as per the criteria and finalise 5 to 6 persons. They will be invited for interaction with the judges. After this the final list will be decided. The awards will be presented in a colourful ceremony on 24 March 2018, he said.
