Ramalinga Reddy, Home Minister of Karnataka has directed to cancel actress Sunny Leone's programme planned in Bengaluru during the New Year's eve.

Sunny Leone usually attracts a large crowd and especially after molestation incidents on the New Year's eve, last year, might have led the government to take this action.

The Minister has directed the Police Commissioner to cancel the Sunny programme in Bengaluru. Another reason given by the minister is the Sunny's programme is not good in terms of propagating culture. Thus it is not advisable to allow the programme, he said.

The Sunny Leone Night was to be organised at Manyata Tech Park in the city on the  eve of New year.
