
Namma Bengaluru Foundation and other NGOs visited the Bellandur Lake area on Monday to review the encroachment Mantri Techzone and Core Mind Technologies, reports Kannada Prabha.
Namma Bengaluru Foundation and other NGOs had submitted an application to the National Green Tribunal that Mantri Techzone and Core Mind Technologies had encroached upon Bellandur Lake bed. The tribunal heard the application on Monday and instructed the representatives of the complaining organisations and BDA officials to visit the spot, inspect and submit a report. Dr Yellappa Reddy, president, Bengaluru Environment Trust, Sridhar Pabbisetty, CEO, Namma Bengaluru Foundation, Coordinator for United Bengaluru NR Suresh, vice-president of Federation of Bengaluru Apartments Muralidhara Rao and BDA officials visited the spot and inspected encroachment. They will soon submit report to the tribunal.
