
JD(S) supremo and former prime minister HD Deve Gowda has clarified that he will never retire from politics and if someone is thinking of him to retire, they would be daydreaming. He, however, stated that he may not contest elections, reports, Kannada Prabha.
He was speaking with news persons after offering special Pooja at Haradanahalli Ishwara temple and Mavinakere Ranganathaswamy temple. He said even at this age he does not sit idle. He will be participating in the Vikasa Yatre and all JD(S) conventions. He said it is his wish to serve in politics till his last day.
He also said that in the Assembly elections, JD(S) will field candidates from all the 224 constituencies, though winning or losing is a different matter. The party will also field the candidates in the next Lok Sabha elections too, said Gowda ruling out any coalition.
