Manyata Tech Park Road made one way, police respond to Shivarajkumar

The Traffic Police have responded to actor Shivarajkumar’s appeal and made the Manyata Tech Park Road one way between 6.30 am to 8.30 pm. The road has a daily traffic of 19,787 two wheelers, 9,387 cars, 4,499 cabs, 303 tempo travellers, 24 private company buses and 95 BMTC buses. However, the rule will be exempted on weekends.

However, the rule will be exempted on weekends. The road has a daily traffic of 19,787 two wheelers, 9,387 cars, 4,499 cabs, 303 tempo travellers, 24 private company buses and 95 BMTC buses. Now all those have to take a deviation said the police.

The residents of the area were agitating for a long time demanding to solve the traffic woes. Actor Shiva Rajkumar who also resides in the area had joined the agitation. When that did not work he, along with his wife Geetha, met the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy some days ago and requested to sort out the issue.

Responding to his appeal the Home Minister had visited the spot and inspected. Later as per his instructions the Traffic Additional Commissioner implemented one way in front of Manyata Tech Park gate 3.
