Synopsis

The couple were married for almost a year but had not consummated the marriage The man had even threatened to kill her if she did not get the dowry Tired of facing this daily, she decided to file a police complaint against husband and family

 

After the marriage function, where many guests thought it was a made for each other couple, the time came for the first night. But to the shock of the bride, the man did not even come near her, instead declared that he would not touch her till she gets the dowry.

 

The woman did not want to demand money from her parents and kept quite. The man too did not allow her to come near him. She faced abuses and lived in the distance from husband, even when they were staying in one house.

 

But after ten months she took a decision and took the matter to the police and thus made it public. This is what she did to tell the people reality of the man’s family, which was in everyone’s good book.

 

A woman has filed a complaint with the Basaveshwaranagar Police Station. She has filed the complaint against harassment by her husband S Mahesh, mother-in-law Shakunthala and father-in-law Shivanarayan.

 

Soon after marriage, the couple was living in Mahaganapathi Nagar. Mahesh is a private company employee. Husband’s weird condition led to fights between the couple.

 

She had stated in her complaint that her husband had even threatened to kill her if she did not get a dowry and that his parents too forced her to get more money and gold from home.
