Man misbehaves with woman in Namma Metro, thrashed and handed over to police

Synopsis

A man who misbehaved with a co-passenger inside Bengaluru’s Metro was caught by public and thrashed before being handed over to the police.  

A man was handed over to the city police after he misbehaved with a woman inside the Metro in Bengaluru.

The woman boarded the third compartment of the six-compartment metro in Kempegowda Station, Majestic.

The man stood behind the victim and began touch her inappropriately. When she retaliated, he tried to escape by attempting to alight at Srirampur Metro Station.

But members of the public present managed to get a hold of him and beat him up. Then they handed over him to the police.

The arrested has been identified as Lokesh, who hails from Nelamangala. He currently is in police custody in Subramanyapura Police Station.
