Two bodies of a man and a child were found hanging at a house in Chikkamagalur on Saturday.
The victims have been identified as Mohan and Lakshmi, and they were found hanging in Mohan's house in Chikkamagalur.
Mohan is 33 and his daughter Lakshmi is just eight years old. The police have speculated that the father hanged the daughter and then hanged himself.
No death note has been found, and the reason for the extreme step is also not known. Aldur Police have filed a case in this regard and are investigating the matter.
