Magadi temple refuses to accept elephant donated by devotee

Synopsis

An industrialist wants to donate an elephant with Rs 4 lakh expenses for one year But temple authorities are not sure how to feed the animal after one year Hence the temple authorities decided to refuse to accept the donation

A devotee of Sri Ranagnathaswamy temple at Magadi, wants to donate an elephant to the temple in thanksgiving to god for solving his problem. However, the temple authorities say they cannot feed the elephant and hence refused the donation, reports Kannada Prabha.  

An industrialist in Bengaluru Murthy wants to donate an elephant to the Ranganatha Swamy temple and also agreed to pay Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakh for an year towards its maintenance. However, the temple administration discussed about it and decided to refuse the donation as they are not sure how to take care of the elephant after one year.
