A young woman died when a KSRTC bus hit the two-wheeler on which she was going along with her fiancé for wedding purchase at Rupena Agrahara bus stand on Friday, reports Kannada Prabha.
Jayashree (21) of Anekal, died on the spot and her fiancé Lokesh sustained injuries. They were getting married shortly and were going for shopping on Lokesh’s Pulser bike near Madivala when a KSRTC bus hit them from behind. Jayashree fell down and the bus ran her over and she died on the spot.
KSRTC bus driver has been arrested and sent to judicial custody. A case has been booked at Madivala station.
